Moss Book II — release date is set
After a long wait, here is the release date of the latest adventure of the little mouse Quill and some more great news.
Let’s not keep you in suspense any longer. On March 31st, the time has finally come and you can plunge into the latest adventure of our favorite mouse heroine Quill. The focus will once again be on the helpful relationship with her, and how you stay by her side through the whole adventure. Compared to the predecessor, you can also expect some new features, which I will go into in more detail in a moment. In addition, there are some questions that I was very interested in and that I was allowed to ask the developers of Polyarc in a Q&A session. So let’s get started.
Old recipe with new seasoning
It was important to the developers to maintain the gameplay feel of the predecessor in the sequel. This was also very important in order to seamlessly continue the prequel, because your new adventure begins directly after the end of the first game. After you have freed Quill’s uncle Argus, your new journey starts immediately and you are confronted with new problems. I don’t want to go into details here and just say: “Let yourself be surprised”. However, I can give you a small foretaste of the innovations to be expected. Quill can now use a new weapon that will play an important role in solving some puzzles. You will also face a variety of new enemies. These small changes will make players of Moss Book II feel right at home, but will also present them with new challenges. I think this is a good mix.
A few burning questions - e.g. Is Moss Book II PSVR exclusive?
Unfortunately, many gamers will feel left out for the time being. Moss Book II will initially be released exclusively for PSVR. But there is a silver lining on the horizon. Although the development team around Moss is quite small, they want to bring the game to other platforms in the future. Unfortunately, there is no exact date for this. So, if you want to start your adventure with Quill on March 31, you’ll have to get the PSVR version. You can already add the game to your wishlist via the following link. Other questions that kept us busy include the game’s length and what other innovations there are. According to the developers, Moss Book II will be several hours longer than its predecessor. In addition, you’ll be able to explore larger areas and the game will be less linear. We are eager to face the dangers of Moss Book II and stand by Quill’s side. What do you think?
